Was born on Swan Island per birth cert. but believe there was a pub called the Swan in an area known as Seven Islands.
In 1861 an Elizabeth Flower a servant was resident at 5 Union Place Rotherhithe with an Ann Flower. Looks like it could be her but not sure.14
May not have been married to Mark Hawkins as could not produce her marriage certificate when registering for her old age pension.
Family story is she was in service for the Hawkins family & fell pregnant by Mark. They had to elope together. She never spoke to Lillian about him.13
Known to Ernie as Gongon
Lived at some later stage at "Bankside", Bower Hinton, Martock Somerset with the Brains & her two daughters.
